रत्नाकराधौतपदां .. ..वन्दे भारतमातरम् - Bharatamataa

मूलः - विष्णु पुराणः

रत्नाकराधौतपदां हिमालयकिरीटिनीम् ।

ब्रह्मराजर्षिररत्नाढ्यां वन्दे भारतमातरम् ॥

ratnākarādhautapadāṃ himālayakirīṭinīm ।

brahmarājarṣiraratnāḍhyāṃ vande bhāratamātaram ॥

प्रतिपदार्थः 

 रत्नाकराधौतपदां -

    रत्नाकराधौत = रत्नाकरेण-धौत = One who is washed by ocean,

    रत्नाकराधौतपदा = रत्नाकरेण-धौत पादौ यस्याः सा , तां -> रत्नाकराधौतपदां 

          

हिमालयः किरीटम् यस्याः सा - हिमालयकिरीटिनी , तां -> हिमालयकिरीटिनीम् 

हिमालय-किरीटिनीम्= one who wears the Himalayas as her crown,

ब्रह्मराजर्षिररत्नाढ्यां= ब्रह्मराजर्षिररत्नाः आढ्या =  rich in abundance with gems of brahmarshies and kingly sages, तां -> ब्रह्मराजर्षिररत्नाढ्यां 

 भारतमातरम् = to that Mother Bharat, वन्दे = salutations

अन्वयः 

रत्नाकराधौतपदां, हिमालयकिरीटिनीम्, ब्रह्मराजर्षिररत्नाढ्यां (तां) भारतमातरम् (अहं ) वन्दे |

Bhaarat Maata, I bow to thee, whose feet are being washed by the ocean waves, whose crown is the snowy Himalayas, whose illustrious sons have distinguished themselves as Brahmarshis and as Rajarshis.
